​How our service works

• We come to you - Caleb’s Mobile Small Engine Repair is a MOBILE Repair Service.  Sorry, we do not offer drop-off services at this time. 

• Our Local Service Area -  ALL Henry County - ALL Year Long.  We will service some surrounding areas outside of Henry County during our less busy season November - February. We use a map routing service to minimize our gas and travel times. 

• Quick & Easy ONLINE SCHEDULING -  Check Availability and Schedule a DATE ONLINE!  Schedule ONLINE because appointments book quickly March thru October. It's also the best way to receive text reminders. All appointments  receive an  EMAIL CONFIRMATION and email reminders .  Max (2) residential pieces of equipment OR (1) commercial piece of equipment per appointment. You can book multiple same day appointments if you have more than the above pieces of equipment.

• We charge a $75 minimum per appointment - You will either pay $75 for your Diagnostic OR you will pay the Repair Quote per appointment.  You will NOT pay both at one appointment. Due to the complexity of repairs, we do not give repair quotes over the phone.   Please read our  5 STAR Reviews to get an idea of our Fair Pricing and Friendly Service. 

• Methods of Payments - Cash, Cash App, Zelle, Paypal, Checks, Credit Card (3% fee)

• INITIAL appointment - Once we are on location to service your equipment, we will diagnose and give you a repair quote. Most repairs can be completed during this INITIAL appointment because we have specialized equipment and we keep common, universal repair parts in stock. Our goal is to complete your repair at this INITIAL appt so that you only pay the Repair Quote. Initial Repair appts typically last 30-60min.  If your repair is estimated to go longer than 60min or if you need parts, you will be asked to schedule a FOLLOW-UP appt. 

• FOLLOW-UP appointment - It is difficult to stock all the different types of specialty parts for all the different types of equipment, so a FOLLOW-UP appointment may be required. We will let you know at your INITIAL appointment what parts you need to order to complete your repair (usually an Amazon link) or if we need more than an hour to complete your repair. You will be emailed a Priority FOLLOW-UP scheduling link within 24hrs,  so that Caleb can return to complete your repair in a timely manner.  You will pay the Diagnostic Minimum at your INITIAL appointment and you will pay the agreed upon Repair Quote at the FOLLOW-UP appointment.   See the Time & Money Saving Tip  below if you already know the part your equipment needs. 

• TIME & MONEY SAVING TIP -  If you already know the part(s) needed prior to your INITIAL appointment (a lot of our customers do) - example: snapped belt, old carburetor, broken blade, tire-rot, etc., we encourage you to have those replacement parts available at the INITIAL appointment. We recommend using partstree.com and/or Amazon to order your part(s) - Make sure to read reviews to ensure a quality built part. You will only pay the Repair Quote if we are able to complete your repair using the parts that you already have on hand at your INITIAL appointment. This saves you time and money!

• Tire Service for Mowers -  We CAN air-up, plug known holes, and install fully rimmed new tires. We CANNOT place new tires on your rims. The new tires must already be on the rims.  

• TUNE-UPs and Winterizing Service - We offer Seasonal Maintenance Tune-ups, Oil changes, Blade Sharpening, and Winterizing, etc. ​Prices range from $75-$300 and can include standard replacement parts for an oil change, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, grease fittings, blade sharpening or replacement, air-up tires and a general inspection.  Full Service Tune-up appts last 30-60min.
